I admit, before having kids, the thought of using cloth diapers never crossed my mind! In fact, with my first two kids, I used disposables. I had a friend or two that used cloth diapers, but they lived far away so I never really saw how they worked on a day to day basis. I believed the common myths that cloth diapers are messy, smelly, inconvenient, old fashion and simply don’t work as well. Though they are commonly used, synthetic, single-use diapers often contain chemicals linked to long-term health conditions.
